Moeller, Mariemont helped St. Bernard-Elmwood Place’s football program

Colin Meirose and his teammates are like many other high school football players who can’t wait to officially take the field against other teams in August. The major difference is St. Bernard-Elmwood Place hasn’t had a football team since 1961.
“It’s exciting and you want to restore the tradition,” said Meirose, a junior lineman.
Meirose admits it’s different recognizing he is playing for the school, but he and his teammates are looking forward to the season opener Aug. 27.
